Love Story: UNTITLED

Sometime in 2014 i wrote a piece on love, in case you missed it CLICK HERE. On today's edition of Love story, am thinking where is Love in today's relationships and marriages? 

I was speaking to a friend who was about to get married then, we spoke a lot and i eventually asked her but you Love him? And she answered by saying Love, that there is love only at the beginning of the relationship once you get married no love. So at this point I was surprised at her response i tried to counter her but she became defensive. 

Love is lost in relationships and is seem there is no solution of any sort. Women and ladies are rushing into relationships only with one vision to get the ring and the men coming into relationships because they are too old to be single. Certainly, my description is not for all marriages and relationships. But in a country where we have the highest number of women cheating then i think we have only 20% of Love guided relationships. Linda Ikeji Asks, Should I Take Political Adverts?

I just dropped by Linda Ikeji's blog and  she was asking her readers if she could take political adverts and she said she was confused. According to the blogger she said the money is good*eyepoppingout
Hmmm, can you be confused about legal money my people. 
To share my thoughts on the matter, I think it was a good idea to ask her readers about their Opinion on the matter at least it gave people like me the opportunity to write on it. My answer is she should take the political ads as long as she is not partisan though underneath we know Linda's party. She is a media outlet so she should run advertorials. The blogger also hinted that all political parties are coming not just PDP, it is a good deal as long as she does not crowd her blog with too much of their political Jargons to obstruct the purpose of her site.
Bloggers, please if they come to you publish their ads,you are making a living. You know your candidate. A better Nigeria is all we ask for.

What do You Believe In?

"Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so is he" Johann Wolfgang. I believe in so many things above all I believe in Christ Jesus that he lives and is working out miracles for everyone. Mark 9:23, Everything is possible if you believe. 
The ability to believe is what got me here. Yesterday, I added plus one and one of the very few things that i resolved to do is to tighten my grip on the Most High God, without him i would not have come this far. Believe sustains you, it defines you. When you see somebody who believes  in nothing, you look at them and you see the reflection they produce. 
Believe is a thought and as a Man believes so is he(repeated). Believe in yourself. Believe in the man or woman you were created to be.  Believe in the visions that you have. Believe in God and yourself gives you the confidence to triumph and conquer.

Overtime i have understood it is not about what they have said or what they have planned. It is about what you believe, the conviction you have. They will say it and do it, who acts it out; it is you. Will you rather act what they say or what you say.

Do not let the people and environment define you; let your believe be your definition. Everyone who has succeeded on the surface of the earth believed in something and they kept at it that  is why they are where they are, we should do the same.

Today in History.... Happy Birthday To Me.

So its official, Its my birthday today. And I am totally excited, I would say I am the happiest woman alive under the sun. So please allow me write in two languages Igbo and English because am too excited to write in one straight language. Firstly, I want to say thank you to Almighty God for his immmense Love, his continous mercy towards me, Ebubedike,ugwu ana ari atu egwu, Dike chiri ugo lota,Odimnobi, Dike na agha, my firstlove, before you there is none other, after you no one, Thank you Lord for not leaving me ever. I am grateful lord.

I also want to say a big thank you to my adorable friends who have made the day worth it all, though its just half of the day i just want to say thank you to them. They are just too much cant mention all their names but you know I love you. Daluu nu enyi'm oma. Happy Birthday to me, yea yea....        

Operation Feed the Presidency: N517.9m on Food in 2015

Please how much does an average Nigerian feed with daily that the Federal Government is proposing to spend N517.9m on food alone.

The 2015 budget has slated this ridiculous amount for feeding for the year, this amount is for office of the presidency,the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, ministries of power, petroleum as well as their parastatals.

Here is the total breakdown, Out of the N517.9m, a provision of N174.54m was made for refreshments and meals for the State House in 2015.
For the office of the President, the budget breakdown revealed that a provision of N142.47m was made for 2015 for refreshments and meals.

For the Vice-President, a provision of N25.58m was made for meals and refreshments. However, while the State House Headquarters, Office of the President and the Vice President all have a combined budgetary provision of N342.59m for refreshments and meals, the 10 agencies under the presidency had a provision of just N67.4m for the same items.
They are the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Millennium Development Goals which has a provision of N8.49m; the Bureau for Public Enterprises, N14.72m; the National Emergency Management Agency,N14m; and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission N20m.
Others are the Bureau of Public Procurement, N5.52m; the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, N3.81m; and the Office of the Chief Economic Adviser to the President, N838,758.

New Year Resolutions In Photos: What is your resolution?

New year Resolutions, have you made any? But first I got this photo from UJ's blog. So the story behind the photo is that some girl uploaded the picture as her bbm pics which represents three things she has resolved to do this year. She wants graduation, marriage and a baby and she wrote"so help me God". Angry Mark Banks didn't see that as a good plan, so he deleted her, Ooops!!!.
Well, i dont know what the perfect resolution for the year should be but according to Mark this resolution isnt ok. As far as I remember, New year resolution(NYR) has existed and some people see it as a tradition to make one to guide them through the year. But sometimes these plans are left behind by the middle of the year that is for those who go far with them for some even before January ends. And I wonder, Is it really Important to have a new resolution each year? Does these NYR help you achieve goals of any sort? Have you made any NYR yet, if you have share with me...

Good Morning my beautiful neighbours.We are all still trying to savour the joy of the new year and enjoy the holidays. While we are at it, let us remember to be thankful to God for all that is gone and the new year. Today's word; Thankful Heart.

It is a new year, lots of people have anticipated for this year but many of them were unable to be in this year to do all they had planned. Many people were lost in the previous year but we are here, Are we fairer than those gone? I am grateful that I am here. I am grateful for this second, this minute, this hour, this moment, this day. I am grateful because every part of my body is intact. This moment exists for me and you because our work here is unfinished. It gladdens my heart that the maker granted us this year to experience his fullness on earth. You and I owe him all the thanks. Thank God for he is good and merciful. When we thank him he will do more. Thank him, Praise him, He is worthy of it all. Give it all to him. Jesus Loves, Jesus Saves.

We woke up this morning to the news that the Spiritual Father of the Enugu, Adoration Ministry Rev Father Mbaka has declared Goodluck Jonathan unworthy to lead the Nation in 2015 and Beyond. But if you have not read the story CLICK HERE.
Father Mbaka is known for his outspoken nature against corrupt leaders in Nigeria but like many Nigerians we were surprised by this recent statements. It is gathered that he prayed for Goodluck Jonathan on the 9th of Nov, 2014 and by  Jan  2015 we are hearing different tunes. Nigerians are confused about the U-turn.

Is It Okay or Not Okay to be a Transgender?

I read a very disturbing story about transgenders this morning on LIB(click to read) about a young boy who killed himself over his parents rejection of his transgender idea.

I am not a doctor but I am seriously concerned about this transgender issue. How is it even possible that somebody that is born a boy suddenly feels like she is a girl? I cannot comprehend how doctors have said all these are normal. So normal that they can actually kill themselves over it. It is very disturbing because I think that one day we are going to wake up to hear somebody saying they feel like a dog, cat or some other animal and we will be having "Transhuman-animals". I am not for or against their changes, am just saying there should be a way around these sudden changes among homo sapiens (humans).

Goodbye to 2014: Thankful Heart

The Year has been beautifully good. The best of things that happened in this year is consistency in what I believe. Also, being able to forge ahead when there were setbacks. And in many ways this little place R101 and all in it have made it worth the while. You made 2014 challenging and interesting.

For all the times you take a peek to see what I have written each day I say thank you. For the Likes on my Facebook page and followers on Google plus I say thank you. For those who leave their comments when they come along, especially to Patrick .J., Ogoo Obi you guys are so wonderful. For those who are always reading but don't see them I say thank you especially to Chuks and Ugochineyere you guys rock. Also to the group who always think about the blog but never read it especially to Nonny, Thank you too. To those i didn't mention their names, Thank you. Thank You All.

This year is actually a proof that i can be committed to something and am so grateful to God for that and many more. I could not have done it all without your support, encouragement and Love. Thank you for moving around with me. As much as I loved 2014, I know am excited about 2015 because we are moving higher. Thank you for a Good year

My Life Is A Message.

My Life is a message; these are the words of Mahatma Gandhi. I came across this quote yesterday and I have been doing a lot of thinking about how my life is a message to other people. I do believe that everyone is created to pass a specific message to the next person. And Gandhi is one of those many people who lived their lives as message not just as a passage.

Whether we agree or not everything about us is created to pass a message. From the way you talk to what I write, how you dress, how I present issues passes a message to the next person and this message could be either positive or negative. No one would love to pass a negative message. But if you decide to pass a positive message or a negative message that is what you eventually become. Gandhi passed messages of an independent and united India, free from oppression and slavery and that is what we know him by many years after his death. When your life is a message, you will believe in a cause; and you will fight for it to the very end whether the changes happen in your time or not. The legacy and foundations for your showmanship will live on.

A Life of message is one, which is selfless and believes and fights for a cause. Where ever we are whether at work, school, church, we should live our life as messages to other people. We should aim to being a candle light in a room full of darkness; someday that light will occupy the whole room.

This quote by Gandhi reminds about why I started this blog. Reevolution means to cause a change in the lives of people who come across her. That she will be a place people can come to when they are in need of sharing partners; and to inspire all to be better persons everywhere and anywhere. This is the Message of R101 to Live, Love and Inspire!

It is a great Joy to know that 2015 is three days away and it is indeed appropriate to give thanks to God for his enduring love and Guidiance through 2014. God is faithful and deserves all the praise. Psalm 100:4, Be Thankful unto him, and bless his name. lets thank him for 2014 and  believe that he will do more in 2015.
