My Personal Findings and Thoughts on the Election

Before the election results are announced and court trial begins, I want to share my thoughts and findings about the voting process and other election matters.
Generally, I believe this election was one of the best in terms of orderliness and Nigerians being cooperative at the polling booths, though there were hiccups here and there but good.
The biggest blow I received this morning was how Mr. President lost in the Aso-Villa. It came as a shocker I felt he should have won at home but this also goes to prove that INEC was independent in some ways.

Inspiration: Morning Smiles

Big beautiful smiley-face flower.

A smile is so much more than just a show of teeth. A smile is a prelude to laughter. A smile is a spreader of joy. A smile is a messenger of peace. A smile is a sharer of happiness. A smile is a giver of love. Smiles help to heal the heart. Smiles help to nourish the soul. Smiles help to build a better world one grin at a time.

The truth is you don’t smile because you feel good; you feel good because you smile. Don’t be stingy with your smiles then. Share them with joy. Let everyone see your smiling face. Let Heaven see your smiling soul. Let God’s love flow through your smile until like the morning sun you light up the world.

Morning lovelies.

2. I also wish to place on record, once again, my sincere gratitude for the support you have given my administration without which the significant progress we have made in recent years would not have been possible.

3. In spite of the many challenges we have had to contend with since 1999, our present democratic dispensation continues to endure and grow stronger in keeping with the yearnings and aspirations of our people.

"E GO Better Kill Nigeria" By Peregrino Brimah

This article was written by Peregrino Brimah, this article gives us a clear view on what have led to the degeneration of the entity called Nigeria.... Read on to see Why

We are the “Positive thought” nation; in lay and local lingo, we are the “e go better” people. Faced with adversity, we smile and say, “e go better.”

When we examine the predicament of Nigeria; when we review our history in light of our record of decades of malgovernance, outrageous corruption (economic terrorism), insubordination by authorities and failed administrations; one reality presents itself: we are unique.
Whereas the French would have long revolted and changed their governments; whereas the African-Americans would long have been on the streets as they are in Ferguson today; as they were in LA years ago. Compared, the Arabs would have “sprung,” and the masses of America would have “occupied;” Nigerians are hopeful.

It is our happiness that is at fault. Our hope is our blight. We have been diagnosed for this attitude. We were called the happiest people on earth. We thought this was something to be happy about, little did we realize then that this was a slight.

Morning Inspiration: Running Into His Hands

This life is so full of beautiful moments. All you have to do is open your eyes and your heart to see them. I saw one just the other day. The local elementary school had just let out and I found myself behind a school bus as I was driving home. The bus stopped by a house sitting on top of a hill. A little girl no more than 7 years old hopped down the bus steps and started running up the driveway toward the house. The smile on her face was contagious. Her long hair was bouncing off her shoulders and her pink backpack was trailing behind her as she ran. I looked up the hill to see where she was going and saw her Dad waiting on her. As she got closer and closer her Dad smiled and knelt down to greet her. The second she got to him he wrapped his powerful arms around her and gave her a huge hug.

Ramsey Noah On CNNVOICES, Talks Nollywood, Politics and Endorses GEJ

CNNVoices caught up with our very own Nigerian actor, Ramsey Noah, he talked about the Nigeria film industry(Nollywood), politics, his presidential candidate for the 2015 election. And also some fans sent in questions via twitter which the Actor replied.
CNN: How have you seen Nollywood change and grow over the years?
Ramsey Nouah: There have been several phases in Nollywood, like in everything in life. We started off Nollywood almost like making bread out of stone; there was nothing, no investment, no structure, nothing on the ground to actually help the industry but we've brought it this far and we are very happy.

CNN: So what have you learned throughout this journey?
RN:
I learned a whole lot of lessons, when the chips were high -- many people knew me and everything but I was so deeply passionate about the industry that I wanted growth and I wanted something better.
I wanted Nollywood to look like Hollywood and Bollywood, I wanted it to have that appeal ... and at some point in my industry it wasn't happening. Because I'm one of the very top actors, knowing that with my influence I could make a difference, I decided at some point ... to be like "look guys, lets upgrade, the new technologies are coming, how do we move forward."
Most of the people I was working with wanted to live in that mindset, and I felt "no, I need to make a change,"... and then I was just picking movies deliberately that I knew would stand the test of time as I grow old.

12 Words Some Women Use and What they Mean

Sometimes women tend to say some simple words to men but those words are usually not as simple as they are said. You need to look deep to connote the meaning of these words with the facial signs that comes with it. The 12 words are listed below....
FINE
This is the word women use to end an argument when they feel they are right and you need to shut up. Never use "fine" to describe how a woman looks - this will cause you to have one of those arguments.

FIVE MINUTES
This is half an hour. It is equivalent to the five minutes that your football game is going to last before you take out the trash, so it's an even trade.

NOTHING
This means "something," and you should be on your toes. "Nothing" is usually used to describe the feeling a woman has of wanting to turn you inside out, upside down, and backwards! "Nothing" usually signifies an argument that will last "Five Minutes" and end with "Fine"

I Hope You Dance

This was written by an 83-year-old woman to her friend.
* The last sentence says it all. *

Dear Bertha,
I'm reading more and dusting less. I'm sitting in the yard and admiring the view without fussing about the weeds in the garden. I'm spending more time with my family and friends and less time working.
Whenever possible, life should be a pattern of experiences to savor, not to endure. I'm trying to recognize these moments now and cherish them.

I'm not "saving" anything; we use our good china and crystal for every special event such as losing a pound, getting the sink unstopped, or the first Amaryllis blossom.
I wear my good blazer to the market. My theory is if I look prosperous, I can shell out $28.49 for one small bag of groceries. I'm not saving my good perfume for special parties, but wearing it for clerks in the hardware store and tellers at the bank.

"Someday" and "one of these days" are losing their grip on my vocabulary. If it's worth seeing or hearing or doing, I want to see and hear and do it now.

Comrade Mark warns against Use of the Card Readers in the 2015 Election.

 Sponsored Post
As the day’s draws close for the election, it is expedient to warn INEC about the impending disaster waiting to happen if the card readers are used in the March/April 2015 Elections. INEC should be warned because there are manipulations on the card readers been spear-headed by the opposition party APC. The APC as a party has continued to have secret meetings on how to win the upcoming election by force through rigging.

Nigerians should not trust the fake agent of change masked around the APC propaganda. The  APC was against the postponement of the February  14th election, reasons being because they have orchestrated the manipulation of the card readers and they even went ahead to  print their own fake PVCs which they plan  to use in rigging the election. But the timely intervention of Prof Attahiru Jega, who admitted before the National Assembly that over one million PVCs are yet to be printed in faraway China. According to the INEC boss the call for postponement was a real blessing in disguise, because of the inadequate preparation from INEC in distributing the PVCs and the constant bombing in the North-East. Yet, the opposition party APC has blamed the Presidency and PDP for postponing the election, which was done at the discretion of the INEC boss.

Blue, white, yellow, gold, red, orange, pink, and purple all weave together to create something so beautiful and so glorious that it is transcendent. When you look at it for a brief instant it is like you are getting a glimpse of Heaven.

Its not late! Happy Mothers Day!!!

Image result for pictures of happy mothers day
She has a pretty face,
She adorns herself in apparels,
But her pretty embodiment,
Is a beauty beneath the facial,
Within her is the availability of,
Care, tolerance, perseverance
And the unconditional love
We all have savoured all our Life.
She is a mother,
Whose breast I  had sucked for life,
Whose hands still cuddle me.
Mama! She dreams for me even when
My visions were blurred,
Her desired wants traded for,
My expected future/ambition.
Your clothes for mine,
Your Comfort for mine.
Nne Oma! Even when papa was down,
You stood tall but never taller than him,
You stood in the gap, You stayed on.
Mama hid her tears when I cry ,
She stays awake all night,
Just to watch me get well,
A mother’s worries never stops.
I call her blessed for she has
Knitted her family in love,
Knitted her hands in work
To bring bread to our table.
Even papa is proud of her.
She is a total woman.
I am proud of her
Because from her I came forth.
Mother! I salute your courage
I hail thee for the life you bring forth,
Your virtues are priceless.
Nneoma, may your days be long,
Long enough to enjoy your children.
Our mothers, we love you.
Ndi nne mama!!!

Lols, after I read the story below I just could not stop laughing. These guys on nairaland will not kill me. The story is about employment /job hunt. And I wrote an article on that yesterday, if you missed it CLICK HERE.  Please join in the discussion below and share your story if you have one;
I just want to know what you think of this..i went for an interview and I met this lady, I must say she is very nasty and the people that I met in interview room told me that she has an attitude problem. I called them bluffs. Now when it got to my turn to be interviewed, I realized that the lady is just daft. The job was to be market personnel in another city and that place isn’t where I am based. To get on my nerves the firm is run by Indians or these Asians and I must be honest I detest working with them. I have had a lot of nasty tales about them.
To cut the long story short, the lady told me that I will get to another level of interview, after that If I am employed that they will give me a target of 150 million to sell some damned electronic in one nasty northern zone and Abuja.
