Presidency Accuse Buhari of supporting Gay and Lesbian Rights If he wins the 2015 Election

The Presidency has accused his opponent in the forthcoming election General Buhari (APC) of his preparedness to support same sex marriage in Nigeria if he wins the election.

The Presidency who spoke through his Media Spokesperson for the 2015 election Femi Fani-Kayode said that General Buhari has pledged his commitment to 4 western countries to support the Gay and Lesbian rights if he wins the election. Though the names of the four countries were not mentioned. Read below the statement made by Femi Fani-Kayode yesterday in a media briefing:
“He had talks with the representatives of at least four western countries. The leaders of those countries made an offer to General Muhammadu Buhari and we are reliably informed that he has put the offer under consideration.

Article: Unemployment a Huge Challenge that dosen't Show on the Face

Everyday, someone walks into my office(front desk), looking all stylish, million dollar suite, stilettoes shoes, some model like, sometimes I am carried away by their presence. I begin to smile sheeplishly with this big grin on my face looking forward to a big sale. That moment you see them with all these aura and swag, thinking they are the potential client and the millions is about to drop, your hope is dashed because the  next thing they voice out crashes the Nigerian dream.
He/She will come so close to you as if to whisper sweet nothing to you and he says "is there any vacancy".

A 2-day old Baby found by the roadside named after the Late Okoya-Thomas

According to Punchnews, a two-day old baby abandoned by the roadside on Sunday has been named after a late businessman and philanthropist, Molade Okoya-Thomas.

It was gathered that the baby was first sighted around 4pm at Marina, close to Wema Bank Plc. He was later picked up by a Good Samaritan who runs a non-governmental organisation in Lagos.

The baby, it was learnt, was subsequently taken to the family support unit of the Nigeria Police Force, Adeniji Adele Division. From there, he was on Monday handed over to the Lagos State Government who had since taken responsibility for the child.

WTF: Don't Quit Too Soon

There is time for everything. But before you quit that Job, Love or home ensure you have exhausted every means to solve the problem. Don't quit too soon, the miracle may just happen. This inspiring story is culled from skywriting. Read it, get a lesson...

Newspapers once reported about a young Taiwanese man who wrote 700 love letters to his girlfriend over two years. That's a letter almost every day. And I'm not talking about e-mail. Seven hundred hand-written letters that included folding, licking, stamping, addressing and sending. Seven hundred letters that proclaimed his feelings toward her. Many that even tried to persuade her to accept his marriage proposal.

Two years of correspondence finally got results. She announced her engagement...to the postal worker who delivered all those letters. Of course, it makes sense. She saw HIM every day. Maybe it was lucky for the mail carrier that her boyfriend didn't give up too soon.  CONTINUE......

A MUST READ ARTICLE: Steering a dangerous Course in Nigeria With a Steady Hand

This article is Pro-Jonathan written from an outside view. It is quite fascinating. Read below;
Nigeria has a date with destiny as March 28 and April 11 draw near. These are two significant dates that, on one hand, present Nigerians with an opportunity to strengthen democracy through the ballot.

These dates, on the other hand, are also beaming scaring danger signals. No thanks to politicians who are beating drums of war, stumping across the country, making campaign statements full of fury, with little about issues of concern to most Nigerians. As is typical of Nigerian elections, the tension is thick in the air, so much so that the putrid smell of Armageddon has enveloped the country. Fears are palpable, generating serious concerns among Nigerians and within the international community.

40% of Men are not the Father's of Their First Born's- Dr Oni

 DNA
When you stick to faithfulness to one partner there wont be baby drama. A Lagos based DNA expert, Dr Oyinwola Oni said that 40% of men do not know that they are not the biological fathers of their first child. He narrated this using his own personal experience. Read interview with City People below;

Your hospital has a good reputation as a place where anyone who wants to do DNA can come to. What was the attraction you had for taking up doing DNA testing in your diagnostic centre?
"How I got into doing DNA is an interesting story which all man should learn from. I lost my wife about 6 years ago. About that time there was a lady I have known for  long in Nigeria but who now lives in the UK. I now said I will be in Germany on so,so date , can you come and see me? She came in November and we were together for four days. She left. I left. I got back home. I lost my wife four weeks after that. Then she became pregnant. She didn't tell me. She didn't tell me. She waited for a year. After a year, she said she just wanted me to know what she did in Germany, that she now has twins for me-a boy and a girl. I said now that I can't say anything. I am bereaved.

My Personal Experience: Early Morning robbery in Lagos

Today, I had my very first experience. I have had tales about it, seen it almost happen to someone but I have never been face to face with any of them.

As usual, like every other day we leave our neighbourhood very early we could get to Ikoyi-Lagos on time for work. If you are familiar with the territorial land of Lagos then you will know what I mean.
We left home about 5:15am, I tag along with a senior friend who passes by my work place so she drops me off before going to hers. At about 5:50, we were at the connecting bridge of mile 2(festac side) to orile road, the Apapa road.  Continue below....

Word For Today

Good Morning Lovelies, How was the weekend break? I suppose long and nice. Welcome to a new Monday. I have a little word to share with you.

Do you know how strong and powerful you are? The ability you posses is beyond comprehension. God has given you so much power, you need to tap into the source of that power.
My friend said something to me this morning, "the devil does not have as much power as we give him credit for". From time immemorial, authority had been given to man, to dominate, to take charge, to reproduce, replenish, to name.
If  you and I were given this much authority, why do we create a name and room for the devil to triumph in our lives?
The devil has no place in your life, so do not give him a chance. Take charge of your life in Christ Jesus.
Proclaim the name of God more, talk more about him and he will show you the way. Life is way safer in him. Keep looking up to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

Fast Food Owner (Ritualist) Caught with Human Blood, Fetish and Diabolic Items in Imo State

Source: Nubnews
It was a very horrible, absurd and gory sight to behold earlier today, as the owners of a popular eatery around the spherical city of Aladinma student alliance met their well timed waterloo.
Eyewitness recounted that trouble started within the wee hours of the morning, when the vigilante group in charge of security around the alliance caught a woman in possession of blood filled calabash doing some incantation in front of an eatery by name "Sweet Diamond" situated at the heart of the alliance.

When she was accosted, she lied that she was conducting a prayer session and the security guards overlooked her.
She was almost allowed to go scot free, not until suspicion grew and the fetish contents of the calabash was discovered.
She was almost lynched by the irate mob, if not for the confessions she was forced to make.

Total Woman: Woman! You are Blessed

In my days in the University there was this very special classmate of ours we called her "Total Woman". I can't remember how the name came about, but one look at her you will see the reason for the name.

Total woman didn't lose out in any part of her life good at her school work, always prayed to the lord, she exercised often by jogging and skipping to stay fit. When it came to social activities, she participated fully, I remember our last old school day in the final year, even when most of us didn't think it was okay to do all that she stepped out in old school style and had fun, marched around and made herself and people around her happy. Total woman had every beddings, cooking equipment in her space, that's why we rated her No1 in cooking.
She was also very industrious, her hands were very useful to her.
One day, after it had rained  I was going out when I saw total woman picking things and I asked her what she was doing, she said she was picking snails.

Your Facebook Status says more about your personality-See How

Embedded image permalink
If you think your facebook status update says nothing about your personality, then you have to read this...
According to themirroruk, the researchers from the University of Pennsylvania and Cambridge looked at Facebook users who had downloaded a personality test app – MyPersonality.

They got permission from 70,000 users of that app to use their personliaty test results, and then to monitor their facebook status updates for two and a half years between January 2009 and November 2011.

It resulted in 15 million messages.
The study's lead author Greg Park of Pennsylvania University said that neuroticism was the hardest personality type to find through Facebook analysis. "The worst score was in neuroticism, that makes sense from what psychologisst know. Because it's internal, it's the hardest to spot from examining language".

Word For Today: A little Bit Of Kindness

This Story is Credited to wow4u. I hope it brightens your day.
There are times in our life
when we don't take action because we feel the act of kindness
is too little, that it wouldn't make a difference. However, sometimes the smallest gesture can make a huge impact on someone's life. There are many different ways we can show kindness to others, and it doesn't have to be in a big way.

The simplest of things may make the difference. A smile, a door being held open, a handwritten note, a kind word, the list can go on and on.

I was recently reading some of Aesop's fables and came across the story of The Lion and The Mouse. While this story has been around for a long time, it still has wisdom in its words. Below is the story:

This is the fourth series of Governor Fayose's front page campaign against the opposition party. We had the first in all the daily nationals, the second in  the Punch newspaper, the third in the daily sun newspaper and this is the fourth piece.

When shall we see the end of this?

21 Signs of Emotional Abuse in Relationship/Marriages

Emotional/Psychological abuse is as common as the physical abuse but it is often neglected because there is usually no sign of physical harm done.

Psych Central says, psychological abuse occurs when a person in the relationship tries to control information available to another person with intent to manipulate that person’s sense of reality or their view of what is acceptable and unacceptable. Psychological abuse often contains strong emotionally manipulative content and threats designed to force the victim to comply with the abuser’s wishes.
A common form of emotional abuse is “I love you, but…” That may sound nice at first, yet it is both a disguised criticism and a threat. It indicates, “I love you now, but if you don’t stop this or that, my love will be taken away.” It is a constant jab that slowly strips away your self-esteem. Abusers get a lot of reinforcement out of using the word “love” as it seems to become a magic word to control you.
