many people are like that, unhappy with jobs, unhappy with family, unhappy about school and friends, unhappy with the situation of things around us. Do we then suffer endlessly because things are not the way they are supposed to be?
We ourselves are the only ones who can decide to be happy. There were good moments before we lost the joy, let us remember those moments and savour them. We can find joy if we will look at all we have from the positive side. you know babies have this very amazing glee(Happiness) on their faces when you pick them up(at least most babies do) when they bare tickled the laugh so loud without a care in the world and in that very moment they are happy, their emotions are for the moment they do not carry the emotions over for days. If only we can learn from these little infants, not to carry over the emotions, to enjoy and learn from each moment in that way our happiness will no longer be defined by situations but by total resolution of ones self to enjoy the ecstasy of life. continue...
I know you are thinking how you will find Joy in the midst of anger, sadness and pain but you know what it is possible. It is okay to feel these emotions of anger, sadness etc, the outburst of these emotions are necessary to aid healing to the pain you feel.
Then, we need to accept what we have, forget what we used to have or what it was like and look forward to what we can gain. Like the good book says, i withhold not my heart from joy but my heart rejoiced in all labour. Don't withhold your heart from joy let the heart be happy at all times.
Finding joy is about the wealth of immense happiness in the midst of obstacles.
I want you to look at your work place and remember why you took it up at first,
Look at him and remember what you liked about him when the days were good,
Do same for all the things you think you have no joy in anymore, you will see there was some joy at the beginning and you know, that joy is still there if only you will let your heart be open to finding the possibilities of bliss(happiness).
I find joy in writing this piece.
I find joy reading ur updates hon...
