SUDANESE WOMAN SENTENCED TO DEATH BY HANGING SHOWS BABY BORN IN PRISON

Mr Wani, the husband of the Sudanese woman, Mrs Ibrahim who was sentenced to death last month has been allowed to see his daughter after officials denied him the chance of seeing his baby. 

The Father expressed immense Joy at the sight of his baby alongside bitterness over the wife's continued stay in the Sudanese prison which is said to be over crowded. Mr Wani explained that the wife had her legs chained while she delivered their baby. See his words:
"They kept a chain on her legs," he said. "She is very unhappy about that.""It was very wonderful to see my baby daughter – I am so happy," he said."The baby is very beautiful."

Meriam Ibrahim gave birth to her baby on Tuesday this week. Meriam is determined not to change her mind to renounce her Christian faith. Report says Sheikhs are been sent to her to renounce her faith but she is committed not to. Apart from her sentence Meriam wiil receive 100 lashes in two weeks time if her stand does not change.

Merriam is set to be executed in two years time if all appeal fails. 

According to her Husband, Mr wani, who said they told her that the world is talking about her plight.
"We let her know," he said. "She really appreciates that and is thanking people. She wants people to support her and pressure the government to reverse the sentence.
