Nurse Justina Obi Ejelonu, (pictured above) who attended to late Liberian Patrick Sawyer while he was ill at the First Consultant hospital Obalende in Lagos, has died.
Ms. Ejelonu who until her demise today had been kept in a quarantine facility in Lagos. Justina was 25years old at the time of death. May her Gentle soul rest in peace..Amen
Meanwhile, an experimental drug "Nanosilver" developed by a Nigerian in diaspora for the treatment of Ebola is expected to arrive the country today, the Minister for Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu, has said.
The drug, “Nanosilver”, has been approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) as an experimental treatment ethical in the case of the Ebola epidemic. The Federal Govt yesterday approved the experimental drugs as a treatment for the deadly virus.
I hope that the drug works for the affected victims of Ebola and that the Death of Justina and other health workers who passed-on will not be in Vain.
