PRIVATE PLANES BANNED FROM KANO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Barely 24 hours after the private jet of Governor Amaechi was grounded yesterday at the Aminu kano international airport, Kano state , the government has banned the presence of private jets from landing at the airport.

El rufai made this known on his facebook official page, he said " Private planes banned from landing at the Kano Airport to frustrate those intending to fly into Kano to congratulate HRH emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. CONTINUE....
 El-rufai further said,
Who is in charge of the airport, is it the military airport commandant or the NCAA?

Is Nigeria under military rule or martial law allowing the violation of constitutional rights with such impunity?

When will the Jonathanians give up on this hopeless persecution of a good ,an?

For how long will the Jonathanians continue to test the patience of our people and the citizens of Kano with this reckless impunity

- Nasir El-Rufai

When premium times spoke to Nigeria aviation parastatals, this is what they had to say, Yakubu Dati, the spokesperson for the Nigerian aviation parastatals, said the military usually takes such decisions when there are security concerns.

“We as an authority, we have not banned any plane from landing in Kano. You know there is civil aviation and there is also military aviation which supersedes ours,” Mr. Dati said.

“They don’t consult anybody. They just go ahead with their decision since it is about security,” he added.
