At least 17 people have been confirmed dead following an auto crash
that occurred along Peke village, new Jebba road in Ilorin, Kwara state.
The state sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC)
Mrs. Mary Wakawa, confirmed the accident in Ilorin on Friday, while
speaking with journalists.
According to Wakawa, the accident occurred around 3.30 a.m on Friday between three vehicles along 16km New Jebba road, Ilorin.
Eyewitnesses said the cause of the crash was impatience and overspeeding.
