"They took Turns to Sleep with Me, Now I am Pregnant"- Woman narrates her ordeal in Sambisa Forest
Some of the women who have been rescued from the book haram sect tell their sad and heart breaking stories of rape, assault in the hands of their captors.
One of the returnees is Asabe Aliyu, a 23-year-old mother of four children from Delsak, a village near Chibok town. She intermittently vomited blood an indication that she sustained internal injuries. She disclosed that beating was the order of the day in the Boko Haram camp. That was in addition to the deployment of all forms of vulgar words. They forced her into marrying somebody after a series of sexual assaults unleashed on her by different men on a daily basis.
"I was abducted six months ago in Delsak when our village was overrun by Boko Haram. First I had sojourned from my village to a forest close to Cameroun, they turned me into a sex machine. They took turns to sleep with me. Now, I am pregnant and I cannot identify the father. With my condition as a pregnant woman, I did the cooking of their food” she told Daily Times amid tears.

Good Morning amazing people, it is a beautiful May. Looking forward to a great month.
This morning I was thinking of myself, please permit me to be selfish and you are allowed to do same, lols.
I thought about the road I have been on and I smiled I felt happy with myself because I can see the light I have yearned for shinning towards me. It is still far off but I know I am winning.
This is want I expect you to think about today, about yourself, how you are winning despite the hurdles.
Me, Myself and I is a majority with God. With him I can do all things. I'M POSSIBLE.
I know the sea wave is turbulent, it is pulling you back but I urge you to swim towards the shore. Learn to hold your breath underneath the water. You will be Fine because you are winning this.
I'M POSSIBLE. I'M MAJORITY. I'M VICTORY.
Have a Great Day and a Blessed May.

Jonathan Says to Party Defectors"You will Come Back With HUNGRY STOMACH".
President Goodluck Jonathan has indicated a possibility of foul play in the March 28 general elections. Mr. President who spoke shortly after receiving the report of the Senator Ahmadu Ali-led PDP Presidential Campaign Organization at the Presidential Villa, Abuja said the PDP could not have scored so low in some of the results that was collated. But he maintained his Stand that the Unity of Nigeria is paramount. He called on PDP party members to be strong, he said those cross- carpeting will come back with hungry stomach. Read his speech below....
The President said, “The problem is not whether we lost the elections, that is history, but how do we consolidate our party and move forward? If we are committed and we work hard, definitely the PDP will bounce back.
“The PDP is still the dominant party. If you look at the results, the difference is just 2.5 million votes and if you look at the areas where it is perceived that the PDP scored so low, the PDP couldn’t have got those kinds of scores but the elections are over, so the country first. Continue.....

Togolese President wins Election For Third Term
At a point I thought Africa was moving forward when president Jonathan broke the African Jinx of 2nd tenure but here is Faure winning the presidential election for the 3rd time.
The Togolese president Faure Gnassingbe has won re-election for the third term in office.
The results which was announced by election commission chairman Taffa Tabiou late Tuesday night gave Gnassingbe about 59 percent of the vote in Saturday’s election. while the leading opposition candidate Jean Pierre Fabre had 35 percent of the vote.
Gnassingbe has ruled since the death of his father, Gnassingbe Eyadema, who took power in a coup in 1967. The Gnassingbe family has ruled Togo for half a century.
Is this a monarchial system?

Single Words that Inspire.
A Poem With Single Words That Inspire
One SONG can spark a moment
One FLOWER can wake the dream
One TREE can start a forest
One BIRD can herald spring
One SMILE begins a friendship
One HANDCLASP lifts a soul
One STAR can guide a ship at sea
One WORD can frame the goal
One VOTE can change a nation
One SUNBEAM lights a room
One CANDLE wipes out darkness
One LAUGH will conquer gloom
One STEP must start each journey
One WORD must start a prayer
One HOPE will raise our spirits
One TOUCH can show you care
One VOICE can speak with wisdom
One HEART can know what is true
One LIFE can make a difference.

She added that after paying the money, she was again used as collateral for a 500 Libyan dinars (N50,000) loan.
She also stated that her abductors conducted pregnancy tests on her three different times, which were negative.
The schoolgirl, who was released on Friday, spoke to PUNCH Metro on Monday in Ikeja, Lagos.
She said she saw more than 1,000 Nigerian girls, who were also forced to work for the money paid by the pimps to the human traffickers.
#KeepHopeAlive: Stop the Indonesia Execution
In less than 24hours 9people will be executed by the Indonesian authority. These 9persons have been tried for drug trafficking a crime, yes but not enough to order their death by firing squad.
The Judgement passed on these 9 individuals is cruel, unfair and inhumane. Other punishment can be metted out to them but not death penalty.
This action violates the human right of these people. They should be given fair hearing, fair judgment.
Lets help stop this execution. Tell Joko Widodo the Indonesian president and the Indonesian community to stop this injustice. Your voice can make the difference. #Indonesia. #KeepHopeAlive

Inspire: Prayer Request
Prayer, it doesn't matter how short it is but acknowledging the presence of the maker is ultimate. He is within us and he cares. He will meet all our needs if we make our requests known unto him. Make that request to him today he is listening. The Lord's prayer is one way of making request, it says;
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, Give us today our daily bread, And forgive us as we forgive those who sin against us and deliver us from all evil. Amen
Have a great week lovelies. remember to share the blog.

24 food You should STOP Refrigerating
But did you know, despite popular belief, refrigerating certain foods can actually change their flavour (not in a good way). This is not it. It can even reduce their nutritional quality, or accelerate the spoiling process. Keep reading to find out the food items you are never supposed to refrigerate. We bet some of these are sitting in your fridge right now!
1) BREAD It is perfectly fine to freeze bread, but keeping it in the fridge causes it to dry faster. And you end up eating dry bread. Instead, keep what you'll eat within four days at room temperature and freeze the rest. Store in a cool cupboard or bread box for a fresh slice.
2) HERBS
It's natural instinct to stuff the fresh herbs, you just bought from the grocery, right onto the fridge. But did you know herbs wilt faster in the fridge? You could place them in a water-filled glass jar on your kitchen counter to to keep it fresh and crisp.
3) POTATO
Refrigeration adversely affects the flavour of potatoes, therefore it is best to store them in paper bags. Remember, plastic bags promote moisture and speed decay process.
