Hundreds of decomposed bodies of both women, men and children have been found in a shallow grave in Damasak , Borno state.  This was discovered this past weekend when a committee that was set up by Governor Kashim Shettima was directed to assess the level of destruction by the Boko Haram sect in the town.

"Those bodies in shallow graves have badly decomposed while those found on the streets were desiccated from [exposure to] dry ‎winds," Mustapha added. "The staggering number of dead bodies found in Damasak is a testimony of the large-scale atrocity Boko Haram committed when they were in control of the town" Kyari added.
These bodies are from the attacks carried out by the Boko Haram sect when they captured the Village last year November. This goes to prove the depth of the sects attackin Nigeria.

Report also shows that there were about 20marked graves but the no of corpses are uncertain but those who participated in exhuming the corpse gives the no to 400.
The volunteers said,"‎We collected over 400 corpses from the streets and in shallow graves during our visit in Damasak," said Idris Karimbe, one of the volunteers who took part in the burial.
"The number of bodies we recovered this time around far exceeded the ones found last month," said another resident, Musa Bremah‎.

Damasaka is one of the towns that was recently rid from Boko-Haram by the Nigerian-Cameroon-Chadian Joint force.
