SUCIDE ATTACKS IN TUNISIA

A man has blown himself up in front of a hotel in a Mediterranean resort town in Tunisia.
The Tunisia news agency on Wednesday said the man, wearing a belt of explosives, was killed. It was not clear if other people were hurt or killed in the explosion in the town of Sousse.
Sousse is a frequent destination for tourists.

Also on Tuesday, Tunisian police said they captured a man who tried to blow himself up at the tomb of Habib Bourguiba, a former president, in the town of Monastir.
The latest attack comes a day after Tunisia's army launched a "huge" operation to track down armed men in the central Sidi Bouzid region, the defence ministry said.
The armed men had killed six policemen in the area last week.
Tunisia has been battling unrest since the overthrow of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali's regime in 2011, and has seen the rise of self-declared jihadist movements.
In October alone, nine members of the security forces have been killed in clashes with what the government calls "terrorist" groups.
The unrest is particularly worrying because Tunisia, whose revolution inspired many others in the region, is often seen as a model for its neighbours.
